Fisker

Henrik Fisker has been a prominent, recurring name in the automotive design and manufacturing realm. Having made a name for himself working for BMW and Aston Martin, he decided to go into business for himself, founding Fisker Coachbuild in 2005. Since then, the Fisker name has been associated with many unique products. And now, the Danish-American entrepreneur is bringing the Fisker brand back with "the world's most sustainable vehicle."

Sustainable

Aptly named the Ocean, Fisker's new electricity-powered product is set for a production kick-off in November, with the first deliveries expected in the following months. The SUV is said to be manufactured using upcycled ethically sourced, upcycled, and recycled materials wherever the possibility exists in the production process. One of the most interesting features of the car is the SolarSky roof, which acts as a means to generate electricity. It's reportedly capable of adding 1,500 miles of range in a year of use.

Launch

The company is limiting the production of the Ocean's ONE trim to 5,000 units. These will serve as the vehicle's launch series, with more trims to follow. The starting MSRP for the Ocean ONE is set at $68,999. The three other trims available will be the Extreme, the Ultra, and the Sport, each with prices at $68,999, $49,999, and $37,499 respectively.

Milken Institute Hamptons Dialogues

Setting the ONE apart are 22-inch F3 aluminum SlipStream wheels, recycled carbon fiber inserts, MaliBlu interior, and a commemorative digital signature. An example of the Ocean ONE was recently auctioned off at Milken Institute Hamptons Dialogues. The gathering of great minds aims to tackle a multitude of issues facing today's world from the worlds of finance, medicine, tech, politics, and more.

For a Good Cause

The privilege of taking ownership of a Fisker Ocean ONE was sold to the highest bidder at $170,000. The proceeds are designated for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and its mission to combat the illness. "It was an honor participating in the Milken Institute 2022 Hamptons Dialogues and bringing the world's most sustainable vehicle to New York," Henrik Fisker remarked. "We're thrilled the auction went so well for the Prostate Cancer Foundation."
