Zero Labs Gives Classic Bronco Electric Power
Ford will have a new Bronco out next year but this new shop has an EV Bronco coming.
It's old but different
Zero Labs, a startup shop out of Los Angeles has taken the original Bronco and restomoded it into an electric vehicle. Now, the beloved vehicle has more than 1,000 original parts, carbon fiber body panels, and a luxury interior.
Way more power than before
The Bronco by Zero Labs has a 70 kWh battery that is good for 190 miles of range and the capability to handle Level 2 charging, The Borg-Warner electric motor produces 369 horsepower with 240 Nm of torque. Interestingly enough, Zero Labs put a five-speed manual transmission in the Bronco.

It has the show and go
Inside the Bronco is also a two-speed transfer case. This, in addition to locking Currie differentials fitted inside of live axles and a suspension with adjustable Fox coilover shocks for off-roading performance.

That's fancy
The interior of the Bronco is trimmed in aluminum, bamboo, and a choice of either premium leather or a vegan alternative. Zero Labs states that a “full list of available options will be available prior to manufacturing.”

Or you could just wait for the new one
Zero Labs plans to start production next year and will manufacture an initial run of just 150 Broncos. Though no official pricing has been announced yet Zero Lab's website says it could be in the range of $250,000 to $300,000.
